Stephan Stansfield is a graduate student studying human interaction with dynamically complex objects. He previously completed a dual-degree undergraduate program, studying Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University and Neuroscience & Behavior at Wesleyan University. Since then he’s had engineering roles at Disney, Jarvik Heart, and McLaren Engineering. He hopes to build on these experiences in the entertainment and medical worlds to conduct novel robotics research that will have a positive, meaningful impact in a wide range of fields. Outside of engineering, Stephan enjoys improv comedy, immersive theater, snow sports, and other good clean fun.
