Kunpeng Yao (Member, IEEE) received a B.Sc. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China, in 2013; the M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Munich, Germany, in 2017; and his Ph.D. degree in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2022. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Newman Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), US. His primary research interests include robotic dexterous grasping and manipulation, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the dexterity of robotic systems.
